I really like it, it was on our list but had to veto it when my close friend named her dog Jasper glare.gif

Is it gaining popularity from Twilight?

I've always liked Jasper and still do even with the contemporary take-up in Oz. It's very cool.

The coffee company was named for the owner's son. He went to school with my daughter.

Ive never seen Twilight so I didn't know there was a Jasper on there. And i'm not sure why it matters what the nickname will be? Aussie are so weird about nicknames! (yes i'm Aussie so I can say that).

DP also likes it, but in his country (Norway) he would spell it Jesper (Danish I think), so if we go with it we will need to argue about spelling original.gif
