Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has stayed or know of someone who has? Planning a few days away in late January and thought it looked good. We are on a budget and are looking for self contained accommodation for a family of 5. TIA. This post has been edited by Lukri: 10/12/2012, 09:00 PM |

Hi, we stayed there earlier this year in a cabin. It is not too far from the beach, and has a great setup.

I live there - i would probably choose Shelly Beach Caravan Park over it - Norah Head and Soldiers Beaches are amazing and beautiful but you would have to drive.

We haven't stayed there but we go to Soldiers Beach regularly as my parents live nearby - it is an easy walk from the holiday park. Norah Head is generally a lovely holiday town.
Be aware that the beach there is a surf beach and has a notorious rip that catches people out all the time. We have stayed at Toowoon Bay Holiday Park and the beach that it is on is perfect for young children as it is completely protected. |

I haven't been there for a few years but the cabins were generally located closest to the beach and there used to be a walking track through to the car park. No need to drive. It's a great spot OP and they have a bowling club next door which was great for cheap meals etc. This post has been edited by lamarque: 29/12/2012, 06:24 PM |
