Hey everyone

It recently occurred to me that since taking over the AC forums for Moderating, I hadn't posting anything providing clarification as to what is primary infertility and what the Parents Seeking Assisted Conception forum is for, and how the decision to have these forums broken up came about.
So to provide a little clarification:
General AC section is for anyone going through AC, to be supportive and inclusive and not to be used for specific topics that should go to either of the other 2 forums.
Primary Infertility section is for anyone going through AC that is involuntarily childless/no living children. This section also has a buddy group that is a "safe haven" for members who are as yet childless.
Parents Seeking Assisted Conception section is for anyone with child/ren already using AC. This may be for people who used AC to conceive previously, or conceived naturally and have living children but are now experiencing fertility issues.
The Buddy Group section of the AC forum facilitates all buddy groups with the exception of the IVF Multiple Cycles and the Long Haul BG which is located in the Primary Infertility section and is for people who are as yet childless and undergoing AC.

I hope this helps to clarify what these forums are all about, and which section would suit you best.

I have started a discussion post in the General AC section for those who wish to give their opinions on the separated forums and whether or not it is necessary. Please feel free to contribute original.gif

Thank you,
