Hi Guys,
I'm now 6 weeks pregnant with my second and my lower back is killing me. If I don't do something now I'll be in agony when I start to show. Please share your tips on how to strengthen my core and stretches to easy this pain! I'm also contemplating pregnancy pilates or pregger belly classes. Which would you recommend and are there any great classes in the Melbourne / western suburb areas? Thanks in advance :-) Michelle |

I would go see a physio first and see what classes they recommend. I had upper back pain early pregnancy and seeing a physio really helped.

I had two bulged discs last year and to süpport my back this pregnancy I have used "10 minute solution: Prenatal Pilates". Am now 30 weeks and have not had any back grief, much to my physios astonishment. I do 30 mins of it at least twice a week. I do recommend seeing a physio though....

Thanks for the reply guys. I'll definitely see a physio and will check out the 10 minute solutions DVD.
Am I allowed to take pain killers with muscle relaxant? (being pregnant and all) |
