Since Thursday afternoon I have been losing bits of what I assume is my plug. Very jelly like clear to sometimes yellow mucous which comes out in around the size of 5 to 10 cent peices. Some days more than others. This morning I have been to the toilet twice and both times the mucous has now changed and has obvious blood in it.

Question, is this better than the clear mucous comming out as in, progressing more or does it not matter? Trying not to get excited. LOL

I am 39+1 today.

I just asked my one about this last week. He didn't think that losing the plug indicated that labour was imminent. He did say to just give him or labour ward a call when it started.

I went into labour a couple of hours after losing mine with number 5, but it was huge....the whole plug original.gif

With number 2 I lost it in cribs and drabs over 2 weeks. The others I never had a show and waters broke....

Good luck hope it happens soon.

Ohhh sounds promising! I lost little bits for week but they were just clear and yellowy blobs, no biggie.

But when I started getting the blood, I then lost my true plug within a few hours of that (it was huge, about the size of my hand) and then had my babies less than 12 hours after that.

Best of luck, stalking for news.

Going to sound like a huge stalker, but I was thinking of you this morning, wondering if you were close to having your baby yet - sounds like it's not too far off biggrin.gif
