sanity is over-rated
Both my boys had karate grading today...

I knew DS2 would do well as he loves attention and testing so having so many Sensei's watching him is his idea of a good day...

DS1 however is possible ASD, high anxiety and hates people watching him so i was very worried about him freaking... plus he was EXTREMELY tired because he had swimming all day friday with school and hadn't recovered by the time we had got there.

However they did so well...

(i swear DS1 was happy he just doesn't like photos!)

and my new yellow belts biggrin.gif

So proud of both my boys... karate has been fantastic for DS1 and i am so glad that our Sensei is so understanding of his issues and helps him learn biggrin.gif

Well done on their first grading!!

I love GKR as a club, I have found everybody so supportive of each other and I have made some terrific friends!

Now that they are 8th kyu, they can start competing, I will be travelling to the east next year for both World Cup and National Titles!! I cant wait!!
