Hi ladies,
I am left feeling very confused today (icing on the cake given the cranky irritable clomid induced lunatic I have turned into!!!)

So took clomid cd2-6. I have been charting to assist detection of o. I had positive Tuesday and Wednesday. This was in line with bad o pain, breakout, irritability, cm, cervix HSO etc. Dh and I covered all bases. Had negative (fading progressively) opk's thursday fri and sat, again indicating ovulation on friday when coupled to my body signals. I had a temp spike on sat (again indicating that i was right with my feelings that o was Friday- wow! I thought!!! This might actually mean I am ovulating!!!! Yay!!!!). BUT Today I have had a massive Temp dive coupled to a very positive opk?

I had thought it might be a fallback rise, but now coupled with todays positive opk, my cervix is still hso, im naseous and bloated and feeling very very "bruised" inside and dont get me started on how cranky i am!!! my poor dh and Dd's!!!! I'm left feeling really confused????

Is this the real ovulation? Or is this an indication that clomid has not worked? Or is it just screwing with my sanity? I have bd today after putting on a DVD for the girls (super parenting!!! lol) but if this is the real surge- I assume I have to continue with the bding for a couple of days?

Any sane (aka non clomid effected) advise would be most most most appreciated!!!!! Lol
Thanks ladies x x
I have a picture of the opk's but I don't know how to attach

Unfortunately it sounds like your body is trying to ovulate but hasn't followed through.

What are you using to chart with?

Any chance you can show us your chart? Would be able to give you some better insight with more info.

Eta: found your chart in sig, silly me for not looking before.

I'm sorry to say but it looks like you haven't o'd yet? Your temps are a bit erratic.
Do you temp orally?

Thanks ladies, my chart is in my sig.
My ob has ordered day 21 (thurs) and day 24 (sun) tests.
The o pain is very intense as is the uterus pain. I have a high pain threshold, but have been on nurofen and this has made the pain 'bearable'

Pain and bloating can be signs of hyper stimulation. If you are worried about it you should get it checked out ASAP. Good luck.

I would contact you DR first thing in the morning, because you may be over stimulating. OHSS is not nice & that is why IMO, everyone on Clomid should be fully monitored with scans & BTs.

My temp charts were all over the place and I could not tell whether I had ovulated either but the key to success is have sex and have it often 2/3 days. Keep calm and just be patient (I know that it is hard to do). My temps were very subtle rises my FS said.

I know it is hard and I sympathise with you. Good luck!

Thanks ladies!
Taking myself off to bed with a heat pack.
If I'm still in pain I will do what you have graciously advised ob and ask for a scan.
So over how all consuming this ttc gets!!

Maybe tomorrows temp will shed some light!
Thanks x

Todays temp looks promising! It is lower than any of your previous ones.

Fingers crossed your ovulating today
