Hi all, DD has recently had grommets put in so we are having to do the ear plugs and ear wrap for bath every night. Problem is that she hates them! As soon as she sees the plugs she screams and tries to run away.
We have tried to make it low key and I have even started wearing a hair band on my head during bath time so we look the same.
It needs to be done but I don't want to stress her out or make bath time something she doesn't enjoy or is scared of.
Does anyone have experience with this or any tips?

My Dr said not to bother in the bath.

We have personal fitted ones for swimming.

I had my DD with grommets put in at 22 months. We did not do any of that. We lowered the water level and I mean lowered so there was minimal splashing. When washing hair just soak a washer and get the shampoo out that way and maybe wash with shampoo maybe once a week. That way she is ear plug free and can enjoy the bath again.
My ENT recommended that to us to not to the who ear plug thing and saved the ear plugs for actual swimming.

due to family history with grommets and all we have to plug his ears (DS is 2) my DS is giving us a huge battle with ear plugs, we have had success with pro plugs you get them from the specialist but we are still battling it! We have to plug him so we are trying the good old blue tac and doing it fast he can't remove it very easy.

This is what we do. It's not worth the tantrums. Haven't solved the swimming problem yet. I've just ordered some Docs Proplugs so fingers crossed.
