Hi again guys
Has anyone done the old wives tale of the ring test over your belly to see if its going to be a girl or boy? I've tried it tonight for some fun. I never did it with ds. so it goes Wedding ring, or any ring, hanging from some string or a chain about 20cm from your belly while you lie down. If it goes side to side it's a girl, round and round it's a boy. Thought it would be interesting to see what we see vs the results when/if we find out!
Mine went side to side ... so girl?
Xx

Someone did it for me years ago before pregnant - it came out boy, girl and then it hung still, so two kids.

I had a girl, then a boy and there will be no more so it got something right!

Edited - sorry I didn't notice theat this was a DIG. I came in from We are discussing.

I am not in this group, but I did this for my pregnancies, and they were accurate. Except it always said I would have 4 , and there is no way I am going back for #4!!

Hi everyone, I'm a new member of EB so hopefully I am doing this right! My Auntie did the ring test on me on boxing day, and it went in circles which she said was a girl - but does it actually mean it's supposed to be a boy if it circles? I'm happy with either anyway biggrin.gif

I was told by Italian friends it was round for girl and side to side for boy.....

By this mine was right I had two boys 1 girl
To work out how many kids and what gender you rub chain/hair/string with wedding ring hold over the hand you write with if will just do circle or side to side flow down stop start again with whatever gender till it just stops on its own
