So I've had with out crappy vac, it has to be emptied once per room and we only live in a 2 bedroom unit.

I'm thinking to bite the bullet and get a Dyson. I probably want the cheaper one which is the DC29 http://www.harveynorman.com.au/dyson-dc-mu...ustomer-reviews

Can anyone make any final recommendations or reviews? Is there a cheap place online I can buy it from? I haven't even tested it out but have heard so many good things.

Our home is 95% cream carpet dry.gif Which as you can imagine makes things über fun with mr busy body toddler. The kitchen is tiled.

Thanks

We have one, it's absolutely fab. We got ours as a wedding present from my parents 10 years ago and it's still powering on. You'll never look back original.gif I don't think the particular model really matters much, they all work the same.

We have a old crappy carpet and our vacuum is awesome! Our carpet feels much nicer now so i think worth every cent.

We got the dyson allergy upright for $699 from good guys.
$718 at masters you can get the upright animal.

Both the cheapest prices i found.

Lol yep I told DP that this is what is happening and he can suck it up, suprisingly he said yes buy a vac but I don't think he knows it cost over $500 lol ph34r.gif

We just got a windfall of money which inevitability will be spent on a) useless small things like eating nice bought lunches or b) I'll spend it on something we actually need.

I find if I don't justify myself he is much more accepting, the guilt lays in the justification wink.gif

The difference between some models is the attachments included so you can get the basic model and only buy the extra attachments if you really need them. You can add to the later.

The Dyson website is good for comparing models and then google for the best price on the model you decide on.
