These just came in the mail...
You obtained the following results in the STAT Multiple Choice:
Verbal STAT Score: 197 Percentile 99.9
Quantitative STAT Score: 190 Percentile 99.9
Overall STAT Score: 194 Percentile 99.9
I think this means I will get into Mid! Obviously won't know for sure until Jan, but I'm feeling more confident now original.gif
Now I need to finalise my preferences - should I go with Newcastle, UTS or the new course at UWS Parramatta? Anyone studying with these unis?
I'd love some advice, particularly from other BMidders...

Congratulations. I am not up there, but personally, I would stay away from a new degree as there are often a lot of things that need ironing out in a new degree- things come up that planning just didn't pick etc. When I did my first degree (early childhood education) I was the first year of a new course we were meant to get primary education to year 3- but they never put the prac in, so all in all, we got the same qualification as the previous years courses, but they did theirs in 3 years and ours took 4, and we had to do an extra year to qualify for Primary, so it would have been 5 years. So yes, if the other courses have been operating for at least a year, I would go with those over a new course personally.

I'm at Newcastle, as a nursing student

The midwifery and nursing classes have just finished the second year of a new structure. You will sit in nursing lectures but then have your own tutorial group which you extend onto midwifery branches rather then general nursing. (Hope that makes sense)
