So, my period was due today (or possibly tomorrow) & I think I'm around 14dpo. I've had 4 days of barely there positives on first response tests. I wasn't charting but I started taking temps when I got the + as I charted with my son. My temps are still high.

Should I prepare myself for a chemical pregnancy/early misscarriage or does anyone else have good stories of very faint HPTs that took a long time to get any darker? Over 4 days they've not got any darker at all

I will see my gp for a blood test but I know from my previous pregnancy that she doesn't recommend bloods until 1 week past a missed period anyway.

Hi there OP. I'd be seeing your GP.

There could be a number of factors to why the line is barely there.

with my HPT my lines were barely there but I have a 1 year old to prove it!

other thing is when are you testing and are you drinking like a lot of water before the test? you could be diluting the wee a fair bit which can skew the results.

At the end of the day, its not worth second guessing and booking into a GP, get a confirmation, bloods etc and go from there.

Thanks If I make it to mid next week I'll see the GP as then she'll at least be willing to do bloods.

I've tested a variety of times but comparing first morning urine (& all the others!) they are all extreamly faint/barely there. Not getting ANY darker. I know what will be will be, I guess I just have to wait.
