Yesterday I had an internal and stretch and sweep, I was told that my cervix wasn't yet ripe and that he didn't think I'd go before her due date. (9th/12)

Today I've felt off all day and much more introverted then usual just wanting to be alone. (This happened before my sons birth too) about an hour ago I had a massive show and not sure what to expect now. With my son I never got a show and waters broke just before he was born.

For those who had a show how soon after did you meet your little one?

Have only had a show with DS3. Show started early afternoon, irregular contractions from about 10pm through the night. Established labour was from about 9am and he was born at 10.50am.

Good luck!!

For me it was a little more than 24 hours later.

I had a show (lost my plug) on a Friday morning (8amish), I felt kind of 'strange' and after my midwife check up changed my plans of going shopping to sit at home alone because I just felt a little strange & didn't want to go anywhere.

By mid morning I started to get some period type feeling pains & needed to go to the toilet alot. By 3pm mild contractions had started & DD was born 5:30pm the next day (Saturday)

The show you see could possibly be from the s&s you had.

Are you continuing to lose you mucal plug over a period of time? Or do you think the s&s might have loosened part of it a little?

I had a s&s, there was show the moment my OB was done and it set of mild irregular contractions almost straight away. I had DD within 24 hours.

Good luck.
