Cheap stocking fillers

I need ideas for stocking fillers for a 10 and 6 year old girl - preferably useful and less than $10 each They are getting their big presents from us - why should Santa get the credit?

My Mum always did things like soap, toothpaste, undies, pens etc. Stuff we'd use through the year

I went to the $2 shop my 10yr old DD's getting pencils, pens, bouncy balls, hair ties, hair clips, lollies, ear rings, small christmas decoration (she loves a new one every year to put on the tree) and a couple of books

We do the same. Mainly so they dont ask Santa for a pony. Over the years we have put into their Santa Sacks Calendars pencils pavement chalk colour books a ream of copy paper (they were driving me nuts stealing mine) easy felt sewing kits lots of random craft kits and things to do from the $2 shops balls yo-yos fluffy toys swimming goggles beach towels beach toys books We also do a separate lolly bag that they knitted themselves. I bought tubes of water balloons with an easy-fill tap attachment and some of those foam things you suck water into then squirt at people for both my kids. Ds also has 2 skylander figurines and dd has a mascara and a dress. I'll add mini packets of tiny teddies and shapes as well - they take up more space per weight than most chocolate bars and lollies so I can get away with less of them and still make the stocking look full :-) Chalk and a ball for handball is a good one if you have a patio or driveway they can play on. Hair things (amazing how hair bands seem to vanish, we are really in need of a new stash) Toothbrush/toothpaste Pretty shower cap Bath/Shower gel Hairbrush (must go to the same place as the hair bands???) Colouring books Stationary stuff/coloured pencils/textas etc. (Something from smiggle goes down well, BUT you can also get funky stationary even from Big W, for a lot less $$$) Lip balm/lip smackers (I get multipacks and split them between the girls) Glittery nail polish Suntan lotion hat goggles pool stuff water pistol/squirters pretty undies/singlets Prety plastic cup/mug which I might throw some lollies in Book to read DVD Toy of some sort - beanie kid, Littlest pet shop, small barbie etc. Things with their names on it - hairbrush, keyring, pen, stickers etc Tennis balls, frisbee Ribbon wand
