D? is due today and I've been contracting on and off since about 3am. Thought things were really ramping up at around 4.30 but it all fizzled out.

Went for a big walk which seemed to help get things going again but still fairly irregular.

Am hoping for a VBAC so am at least grateful that my body has gone into labour on its own, even if it's still early stages.

Anyone else out there looking like they might have their bub today/tomorrow?

I hope I am! I'm 39.4 weeks today and last night I had a severe burning ache to my back and super intense braxton hicks contractions.. went on all night and eventually settled down somewhat. got up this morning with a bloody show and jellyish looking plug and since have felt ''off''.. and my back has a horrible ache and my stomach just feels sickly. hope this is it!! original.gif

How did you go princeza and butterfly dreaming?

Our DD2 was born at 5.18 this morning weighing 3.5kg and 52cm long. She's just gorgeous and hopefully we'll find an equally gorgeous name for her soon.

I didn't manage my VBAC - failure to progress for the second time - but I have no regrets trying and am v happy she's here safe and sound original.gif
