Hi all

I want fresh yummy croissants for Xmas breakfast and don't know how to go about it. Attempted making them myself and that failed miserably :-(

So

-can you buy them from a wholesale bakery premade and ready to pop in the oven

- any good frozen supermarket varieties that taste good when cooked.
Thanks :-)

I just buy them from a good bakery and freeze them. They still taste great when gently re-heated in the oven original.gif

They freeze well so I have purchased them from my favourite bakery and frozen them immediately. Just reheat in the oven when you want them.

Keep calm & put it on EB.
I buy them from my IGA already frozen. I think it's a four pack.
They taste delicious, last year I did crossiants with a chocolate sauce and almonds.

We've always just bought them fresh the day before. If you give them a quick warm up in the oven they are fine.

I really like the woolworths bakery ones. Have had success with freezing them and then warming up in the oven or defrosting in microwave

Our lical bakery is open for a couple hours Christmas morning, so we buy them fresh. Is that an option for you?
