As sad as it sounds, I'm lusting after a Dyson handheld for Christmas.

We have a big Dyson, but it's a PITA to drag up and down 2 flights of steep stairs in our terrace house. I figure I'd probably vacuum the 1st and 2nd floors more if I had something that was easier to pull out to use.

Does anyone have more more than one vacuum cleaner, or am I being crazy?

I am getting the handheld for the same reason, plus it will make cleaning the car easier.

I don't think your crazy, I've considered it.
I too have a dyson, live in a two storey dwelling and find dragging the thing up and down the stairs a pain. Upstairs gets vacuumed much less than downstairs, admittedly it doesn't get the traffic that the bottom level does.

One to live upstairs and one for downstairs. Go for it!

Not really.

There is one in the house - DP knows where it is.

And one in my workshop. The workshop one gets used more for dust extraction in the sandblaster than it does for cleaning the floor though.

If I had two storeys I would have two Dysons definitely. My dream is to have two dishwashers so I never have to unpack them, just take clean dishes from one, use them and then put them dirty into the other one.

I've got a dyson and a dustbuster (not dyson) but I'm also lusting after a dyson handheld for the stairs, car and timber venetians.

Not crazy! original.gif

Thanks for your replies original.gif

akatara - that's the one I'd like to get. How do you find it...does it run out of battery quickly/take long to recharge etc?
