Had a blood test today to confirm I'm pregnant - my hcg level is 45 which is low for four weeks, but still positive.
What about everyone else?
Any good news stories to share?

Hi Charlotte, I don't know mine currently but at 4 weeks mine were 400 but my GP told me anything between 9.5 and 32000 was the norm. Hope that helps.

I havent rushed out for bloods or anything yet. Getting my first lot taken Thursday I will be 5 weeks. The two times I miscarried the did bloods every 48-72 hours. They said it didnt really matter what the numbers were just that they were doubling.

Dont stress too much on numbers, unfortunately there is nothing we can do to stop MC. Sending you lots of sticky dust.

Mine at 4.6 weeks was 2436. Everyone is different. Most likely at 5 weeks it will be much higher like mine. Yours sounds normal

Every one is different do try it be consumed by numbers. If you are concerned ask for repeat bloods to make sure they are doubling.

I did IVF so have had a couple of tests.

I too was a bit worried about mine. I just got copy of blood test in post yesterday and it was around 200. That seemed low to me but my Dr never rang me to say she was concerned and she normally would if something was wrong so I am hoping it is OK. I am going to try and have another blood test in a few weeks to check it is rising. I will not have scan till after Christmas and really want some assurance all is OK before we tell family at Christmas.

Mine was 180 at 14DPO. My GP said that was really good, although I've seen most ladies here have higher than that at 14 DPO! LOL! My doc said the range is huge and anything over 9 was considered normal.

I don't belong in this group (came in from recent topics) but just wanted to say good luck and try not to worry about the numbers. My HCG levels (ivf) were all over the place on testing; low and not doubling the way they are expected to - a GP even told me I was having a miscarriage or ectopic. My specialist's response though was that he had seen many strange HCG tests resulting in "lovely pregnancies". He was spot on and my little "HCG result" is now a month old!
