It wouldn't be hard... my DD catches the bus with me most days, just walks on, goes to find a seat & sits down, sometimes while I'm still in the queue. I managed to get on the Vline bus and got halfway to Ballarat as a toddler before anyone figured out what was going on. I'd escaped in the few seconds mum let go of my hand to get her ticket clipped at Spencer St Station for the bus to Euroa.

Some kids love buses. I have seen toddlers make a run for the bus as it stops only to be grabbed by the parent at the last second. It would only take a few seconds and people might assume it belonged to one of the other people getting on the bus. Mind you I wouldnt be leaving a toddler without its hand held near a road with buses, but I have seen it almost happen.

As other pp's have said if something like this happened to one of my kids I would be beside myself. The ambulance would need to be called...not joking!! I would automatically think that the worst has happened.
