Hi,

We hired the Unity in late 2010 for DS2. It was brand new and we were the first to hire it. DS was in it for around 10 months. We did take it out of the car much afyer the first few weeks as it was fairly heavy.

Anyway, bub #4 is due in June and I noticed the car seat fitting business has these capsules second hand for $150. They are 2010 models in good condition. The guy said they may not have been installed for up TP 12 months after he got them in (in 2010).... (He's been great installing our seats etc over the years)...

Do you think this is a good deal? Or would you expect to buy one for a lesser amount? Or would you pay a similar amount and hire one of the new/newer capsules?

TIA

I bought my SnS Unity brand new from Mothercare for $280 plus they fit it free for you. I think I would rather pay the extra and get it brand new. You can always sell it afterwards.

Sounds like a good deal. I'm hoping to sell mine for $150-$200 in a few months. (Bought new Jan 2011).

we just bought a new one for 350 so 150 sounds like a good deal. we had an old one - 5 years old to use but it was covered in mould so we tossed it.

If I was going to buy a capsule the Unity wouldn't be my choice.
There are much better rating capsules on the market - this one is the worst...
