i have about 8 bananas going brown in my cupboard. Any ideas on what i can do with them?
The obvious banana bread/cake/muffins etc are not possible as my oven is broken!!!
I do have a slow cooker but not sure if you can do anything with bananas in one of those???

Banana pancakes or pikelets maybe.

Or peel them, wrap them in gladwrap and freeze them until you think of something.

Easy - dip them in chocolate. Or use them to make cheesecake or bananas foster. You can read about those here here.

You can also freeze them to make smoothies. If you have a dehydrator, stir in nuts with the bananas and make a fruit leather.

Make the easiest banana pancakes ever - blend one banana with two eggs - and that's it.

Cook it like regular pancakes and they taste great!

I chop up ripe bananas that i wont use in time and put in a zip bag in the freezer. Perfect for smoothies from frozen, but if you defrost them you can use the as normal, i still put them on weetbix or mushed into DD muesli.

Also, you could make microwave muffins if you have a silicone muffin tray. Plenty of receipes around, and they are better than you think they would turn out.

I freeze bananas for cakes/baking etc and also for smoothies.

The best banana smoothie is made from discs of frozen banana blitzed with milk and honey. It's icy and delicious but ice-cream free!
