Ok, so I have been charting my cycles religiously, been testing with opk's daily and yesterday was a very exciting day for me. I had cleared out my bathroom cabinet the night before as I had some half used boxes of both opk's and hpt's. With opk's I vary between 'first response' which has little sticks and a cup for opk and then a wee on a wand hpt with a lid, and 'forelife' which used to have the wee on a wand opk's with lid and then a little stick which needs to go in a cup for hpt... All gets very confusing. In my tidy up I found a forelife hpt stick so yesterday morning, unable to contain my patience any further I thought I would use the newly found forelife hpt.

It came out positive!!!!

Made plans with DH, when buying a walker for my DD I chose one which was gender neutral in case next time I have a boy, I even spoilt myself with a new pair of maternity jeans!

Still unable to contain my excitement I decided to use a hpt with a lid so I had something to keep. Thought there may be a chance that it won't be as clear as it was evening but didn't matter to me.

I came out a big fat negative......

Stewed on this for a while and then dug out the positive one from the morning...... It wasn't a hpt. It was an opk...

I'm not pregnant, I'm ovulating..... For about the 8th day in a row....(wtf is up with that by the way?)

What an idiot!!!!!

We were so excited! This would be our third.... You'd think I'd have my sh#t together by now and be able to read a label!!!!! Arrhhhhh!
