If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
I love the name Pearl. DH would need some convincing as he thinks it sounds like a trashy name, I think more classic old lady name.

What do you think of Pearl? also any middle name suggestions?

I'm thinking:
Pearl Elisabeth
Pearl Nova
Pearl Elise
Pearl Summer
Pearl Carmella

Can't think of any others.

Love Pearl.

The only thing going against it (or for, depending if you like him) is Jack Osbourne named his daughter the same name.

It's definitely a classy 'old lady' name, not trashy at all.

Yeah that's true, I think his daughter is Pearl Clementine. I reckon it might be one of those names that ends up taking off in a few years.

It's a thumbs up from me too. Simple elegance. I would look at long multi-syllabic flourishes for the middle eg:

Pearl Amaryllis
Pearl Artemisia
Pearl Philomena
Pearl Catalina
Pearl Katarina

Great for a middle name but not for a first name.

It's not trashy at all. It is a little elderly if anything. Vintage-sweet.

I do like Elizabeth but it seems like lots of options would work with Pearl, minus L names?

Pearl Simone
Pearl Catherine
Pearl Vivien
Pearl Caroline (I am loving -line names right now, Caroline/Jacqueline/Emmeline/Evangeline etc. and since Pearl is short you can really do any)
Pearl Veronica
Pearl Meredith
