Does anyone have a recipe for Harry Potter Butterbeer Cupcakes? I have Googled it but the recipes that I'm finding it says that you need butterscotch chips which I have never heard off shrug.gif

So much time, so little to say.
Butterscotch chips are like white chocolate chips but they're yellowish and a bit caramel flavoured.

If you have caramel buttons like you can sometimes get home brand ones at the supermarket, they're not too different.

Otherwise white chocolate chips?

Ignorance is not a point of view.
Could you replace the butterscotch chips with chopped up jersey caramels? They are a butterscotchy type flavour.

The new Nestle Caramel chips are yummy. We had them in a cake and in biscuits.

I found a recipe that doesn't call for caramel chips, it uses creamy soda for the flavour instead, they sound absolutely delicious.
