Anyone come across the Lego City Advent Calendar 2012 cheaper than $49.90? I got one for DS last year at 1/2 that price from fishpond, he is really wanting it but I can not justify spending $50 on it when we have already got them a trampoline for this year.

I don't know where you are but I got it for either 34.95 or 39.95 at the Toyworld in Greensborough (Vic).

QUOTE They get them in on Monday but they will be $49.99. Bummer. Isn't that a bit late? It's Dec 1st today. OP, not helpful for this year but for next year and beyond that, it might be worth joining him up to Lego Club. About August you will be advised that they are taking orders for the Advent calendar (it's always the City one) and you can preorder at a reduced price and it is delivered in September. |

Oh hang on, it was the Lego Friends one, I was looking at other threads earlier and got confused. I was excited to get the Lego Friends one. I've seen the City one too (at other places, I can't remember if I saw it there at all), but I didn't notice the price.

I forgot to do my order for the Lego club one but I got one for DS from amazon - the City fire one. I found a lot of places had 'last years' - ie the police City one.
I think BTTW or another Aust website had them but they were about $60, much cheaper from amazon including shipping |

A lady at Toy Wolrd told me that the City ones are Exclusive to Lego Club and if they have left overs, then they send them to the shops.
