Ok I have an interesting tale to tell, so strap yourself in... wink.gif haha

I was actively TTC with my DP and after coming off the pill in AUG my period never came back. Sadly my DP and I broke up in Oct we had one last BD and then that was it (lol sorry TMI). We ended on ok terms. I went to the dr, (a week and half later i think) as my AF still wasn't around and i was having cramping, did a POAS just incase - BFN, even an ultrasound and they found a cyst on my ovary. My period still never came (since Aug).

Well I had been feeling so weird, my bbs were crazy sore, i was peeing 5 times a night, I'm sooo exhausted but I have had these symptoms before and it was nothing so brushed them off, and was thinking of going to the dr next week to say, look i feel off, something isn't right, i know my body. I on a whim thought of doing a HPT yesterday, thinking it was probably a waste of time as I have been single and no BD since my exdp obviously, and the dr did those tests when i saw her. I had a few ICs so tried those. BUT... it came up BFP right away, oomg.gif the test line popped up instantly and is way darker than the control. I did another and yep again 2 lines instantly (I rushed right to the chemist to buy a FR right after) and yes another instant BFP.

Im so shocked! I am booked into dr on monday but wow. What a crazy thing to happen. I spoke with (ex)DP and he thinks its a mistake and to wait and see what dr says (he was told he would probably never have kids). I don't know what will happen, but just knew you ladies have always been so wonderful I had to tell someone. Im feeling so alone in all of this.

I am just in shock after the HPT at the dr AND the ultrasound. But I'm guessing it was way too early even then to see anything. 1.5 weeks. The funny thing is when i went back in for my results she asked if i could be preg (she wanted me back on the mini pill to help try regulate and start my AF again) and if so to do a test, i said no. So I never did the test. Lucky i didn't start the mini pill yet....

Wow! Thanks for sharing. Congrats on the BFP, and I'm sorry you're feeling so alone. At least you know there's plenty of us on here that you can talk to original.gif I don't know the details of your partner, but you were clearly something to be active trying, any chance of reconciliation?
*hugs*

Three positive HPT's - no mistake there. You're pregnant! Congratulations.

The cyst on your ovary could have been the corpus luteum - which supports the pregnancy until a placenta forms (I believe).
And if the scan was done 1.5 weeks after conceiving, it would have been way too early to see the bub.

Keep us posted on Monday's results.
