Anyone else copped it tonight?

We're near Ballarat and the hailstorm here earlier was insane. The volume of the wind rain hail and thunder was so loud we almost couldn't hear each other inside the house. My brother had a window smashed with a massive hailstone. SES are flat out.

There's more coming through now, but hopefully not as bad.

We are near Ballarat and had a window smashed by the massive hailstones and the wind. The noise was incredible! It wasn't fun, the poor kids were terrified.

That was huge. Not sure what the damage is going to be like out there. I left the car out last night too. Oh well, that's what insuranceis for I guess.

Iam in Ballarat and we lost power here for about 3 hours last night. It was like a flash storm that came out of nowhere and cleared in about 15mins.

We were driving home when it hit, luckily took refuge at the Safeway fuel in Sebastopol or would have ended up with major hail damage to the car.

When we did get home we had a few trees down and all the flyscreens on the storm side of the house were shredded. Found out this morning that half the pegs from the clothesline were broken and scattered around on the ground - how bizarre!

Driving around this morning we saw massive cypress trees snapped off at the base - never seen anything like that before.
