I am struggling at 7 weeks with nausea and exhaustion and have been for a week. I am really wondering how i am going to get through the pregnancy feeling like this. I have 3 boys and I felt dreadful in tge first trimester with them but could still function. This time is so much harder and I already look 5 months pregnant. I have already had 2 strangers ask when i am due.
Can anyone give me any advice on how to get through the next few weeks. Is it normal to feel this way 4th time round? |

It is totally normal to feel exhausted in the 1st trimester especially.
My exhaustion had started to lift at around 14 weeks, same with the morning sickness too. Just keep positive thoughts in mind as much as possible to get you through those really bad days. Best of luck! |

This is exactly how I felt about that time. I'm 14 weeks now and thankfully have my energy back.
Like you, I already have 3 other kids. That added to my exhaustion I believe. I was going to bed the same time as them ... if I even made it that long. Good luck. It should all pass soon |

I am 7 weeks with my second and I think it feels like I am much more exhausted this time around because there is no time to rest while I am looking after him!
Hope you feel better soon |

Feeling your pain. Although today I've actually felt more awake than I have in the last month (I'm 9 weeks). But instead of the exhaustion, my nausea that had settled this week, made a return.
Hopefully both nausea and exhaustion are starting to think about going away though! Hope yours does soon. I keep reminding myself, it's all for a good cause I forgot to answer the "is it normal". This is my 4th too, and originally I thought I don't remember being this tired with my other 3. But then again, maybe I'm just not remembering. Seems a majority of my DIG girls are feeling it too, so most definitely normal! This post has been edited by Rolex: 30/11/2012, 04:27 PM |

Well this is my first so I don't know if it's normal to feel worse on your 4th, but from what I understand every pregnancy is different. I was feeling really exhausted then and struggling with finding something I could eat. I couldn't stomach healthy food. All I could eat was Mee Goreng noodles, Easy Mac and Vegemite and Cheese sandwiches. I was so tired too. Going to work was a real pain. I'd fall asleep on the couch as soon as I got home then my DH expected me to get up and cook dinner while feeling terrible. My m/s was worse at night too so this made it even worse.
