So without thinking I gave my dog a bath with some anti flea shampoo and now of course i'm worried it may not have been a good idea :/ 7 weeks pregnant. Is this something I should avoid touching? Could I have done damage with just one use?

I wouldn't be worried about one use. In future use gloves just in case, but it's not likely to have done any harm.

You could always google for the MSDS, but I wouldn't worry. Unlikely to be a problem with skin exposure. If you drank it... well....

I doubt it.
If you can dye your hair without causing problems for your baby then I doubt whether this would be an issue. I doubt whether enough of it would sit on your skin for long enough, and at a dose strong enough to enter your bloodstream. And if you don't have to wear gloves when applying it then I think it would be ok. Maybe next time wear gloves? Ask your Vet or GP too next time just in case. |
