Hoping for some help here. We have our girls names picked out, whilst it is only 2 syllables it is still long (if that makes any sense) Charlotte. We need/want a middle a midle name, however either way our child will have both of our last names. So we are after something short, 2 syllables is ok as long as it is short - ie Lily. (but not Lily as this name is out even though I do like the way Charlotte Lily sounds)

I like more uncommon names, (for some reason though Charlotte has always been my go back to name. To me no name I have said measures up like this name, and it doesn't bother me that it is common - which usually turns me off a name) DH likes more common names, all my backup girl names are longish like Emerson, Clemetine and really Charlotte Emerson Last Name Last Name is a mouth full.

Can anyone give me some more shorter middle names.

TIA

Thanks ladies

I do really like Rae or Rue

I wouldn't mind honouring a family relative (like a grand parent or one of our grandparents) but none of the names suit sad.gif

I don't mind Dot (which is short for my grandmothers middle name) but I don't know if that sounds finished or not, and her middle name in full is too long to use.

My mum's middle name is is short but it is really common and with a really common first name I sort of wanted something not so common. I loved that I am the only person in the world with my name.

ETA: Eve - I hadn't thought of that. I had thought of Eva but I think it is too close to Ava so was out. I don't think Eve is too close though. Also like Holly. I do like Sabine but being German you can bet it is a name in our family already sad.gif
