Hi All,

When DS2 was born, we had a girls name picked that we loved. I always regretted not using either name for DD, Maya Eve. Only problem is it starts with the same letter as two out of three of my children already. It might be a bit much?!).

That said, we had fallen in love with a few more and we're after some opinions. DH has his favorite as do I....

Maya (prn May-ah)
Eve
Aurora
Imogen

What's your opinion on these names and preference? Any other suggestions in a similar theme - pretty/girlie names?

We haven't even started on boy names yet....
TIA

If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
I love Maya and Eve. Don't mind Aurora. Imogen is nice but NMS.

I can't pick; all great.

I'd be careful with the combo-ing though if you use just those names (vowel problems).

One that does work very nicely is Imogen Eve.

Other names that might be to your taste:

Aurelia
Octavia
Ottilia
Liv
Fern
Anya
Katya
Jemima
Phoebe
Allegra
Sybilla
Clementine

A lovely choice! It's great when you have a name you really love!

I love Aurora Eve.

What about Evie?

That's DH's favourite combo! I like Evie but would prefer Eve. I'm sure she'd end up with Evie as a nn though original.gif

Thank you for your suggestions Gudrun, there are some pretty names there! I really like the above combo after reading it written like that wub.gif

Imogen is probably my least favourite (newest choice) but I'm really liking Imogen Eve original.gif

I like Eve, Aurora and Imogen, but I only really like Maya pronounced My-a, which I know puts me in a minority around here, but it's what I'm used to and what I prefer.

I wouldn't go for Aurora Eve, it's a little too celestial in vibe for me.
