Hi ladies,

Can anyone tell me the name of the hypnobirth and calmbirth books and who the author is? Unfortunately won't be able to afford the classes with the impeding birth of my little darling.

Many Thanks!

You cant buy the calmbirth books without the course (i think). maybe check ebay - I paid 40 after doing the course.

or Fembo maybe...
Active Birth is probably the Juju Sundin one, but that's pretty different from calm/hypno.

This - it also comes with a relaxation CD which was just fantastic in helping me prepare for my Hypnobirth.

OH FYI I did a course with a private practitioner in my home with DH & it was the best $$ we ever spent.

There are also some short videos on YouTube you can watch (obviously they don't go into great detail but cover a few of the techniques you can use).
I didn't end up doing the course either (due to cost) but still had the natural birth experience that I wanted by using some of the techniques I had seen on the YouTube clips (and spending time in the shower in the latter stages! I found being in an upright position and the water to be helpful for me).
