So Sunday night I forgot to take the mini-pill at my regular time (mainly because I was at a birthday party that lasted until 1.30am). I told DP and he just shrugged it off and said I may as well just stop taking it anyway, so I have (YAY!). So I guess we're officially starting to TTC. We DTD Monday and Tuesday, but now I'm feeling all crampy and sore everywhere, and a bit bloated. Could I be pregnant already?! I've been reading these forums for a while and know that you can feel cramps when Oing, when implantation occurs, and when AF is about to arrive/has come. I'm so confused... should I POAS in a couple of weeks if AF doesn't come? Or should I just ride the hormonal wave and wait?

Any advice would be appreciated! original.gif

Theoretically, you could have ovulated very soon after missing the pill on Sunday as your natural hormones would kick in. Sex on the day of ovulation can definitely fertilise the egg so Monday sex could have very well coincided with ovulation.

HOWEVER that was only what, 36 hours ago? We are talking about the Monday just gone?
The fertilised egg wouldn't have actually implanted yet, it hasn't actually made it out of your fallopian tubes so you wouldn't have pregnancy symptoms until implantation - which takes about a week post ovulation. So you can't attribute cramping and bloating to implantation yet but could be ovulation or premenstrual symptoms definitely.
If AF hasn't appeared in 14 days definitely test. My DS was conceived from sex that was had 3 days before ovulation so that sex you had Monday/Tuesday may still do the trick wink.gif

It's most likely that the symptoms you're experiencing are related to the change in hormone levels from stopping the mini pill. Your cycle needs to get back to normal.

Of course, it is possible that you've ovulated or are about to ovulate or that your period will be starting soon, so keep an eye on what your body is telling you, and as futureself said test if you haven't had a period in a couple of weeks. Good luck! original.gif
