So I just made up a small batch of cupcakes, leaned down to put them in the oven, and instead of pushing them to the back of the shelf I somehow managed to flip the tray and spill them over the open oven door and bottom shelf wacko.gif cry1.gif rant.gif

How do I clean it? I've managed to get the bulk off as it was still liquid batter, but as the oven was hot a fair bit has instant cooked onto the oven. Do I wait until it cools down or clean while it's hot?

Will continue to attack it with paper towel and a scourer sponge while I await the EB wisdom . . .

Maybe put some cloths/paper towel with hot water on for a little while to soften it then it might wipe off??

If it were me I would crank up the oven so that it all burned off and then sweep it out later but that is going to cause a bit of smoke. You have to get the oven quite hot though so it all carbonises
