Ames - im the 26th May so yes quite far behind everyone else here original.gif
MrsLexiK - thanks for the info on the hospital ... it seems crazy busy there - i know the now have a couple of extra suites and offer the hotel stay (although for those of us in Melb will understand me when i say the hotel is in Doveton - hardly the Hyatt!) wink.gif - so i think it will stay in hospital - closer to home anyhow.

I have started prenatal yoga now - or as DH calls it Fat Yoga rant.gif - hopefully the breathing techniques will make labour more bearable - wishful thinking original.gif

roll2.gif yeah I would not be taking them up on their offer either. I was told at our hospital visit (different hospital) that if there was no room they would just make room somewhere else for you (not ideal but they will not kick you out on the street) I presume all private hospi's are like that.

Good luck with the yoga!

morning everyone

congrats Ames on your scan!!!

I'm all booked in for 20 week scan 21st December and cannot wait until then. I'm at the next awkward stage where I cannot feel bubs and waiting for another scan to see they are in there growing along as they should. tried for a long time yesterday to see if I could feel them and maybe I did but just not really sure - don't want to press too hard! i've popped some, far more noticeable later in the day.

someone mentioned about hubby travelling not long after bubs arrives? Mine will be going OS about 3 weeks after bub arrives - one of his best mates is getting married in Mexico, I desparately wanted to go but think it's more practical not too, also he is in the wedding party and probbly won't be able to enjoy everything as much with us there. I've already chatted to my parents and they will come down and stay with me which I'm very lucky as both are very hands on grandparents biggrin.gif

final uni exam tomorrow so studying away, I'm definitely struggling to absorb the info at the moment - and Tax it's such a boring subject which certainly doesn't help, hopefully I don't fall asleep again today mid study unsure.gif

have a lovely Thursday everyone, that said I'll probably be an active poster today procrastinating from study!!!

Hi Girls,

ames83- Im due the 24th and I have my 20 week scan the 7th of Jan so find I am behind when most ppl in here. i am jealous that some get to have your scans before chrissy would have been fun to tell everyone the sex on Christmas day.

With my due date, it is 2 days after my husbands birthday and I had DD three days early so I keep joking to DH that we will be eating cake in the hospital for his birthday. He did say he wanted a baby around his birthday so he is getting his wish.

SFML - Im am also feeling that awkward stage of not being able to feel bub and wondering if everything is going well. i have popped and i feel heavy sometimes but they are my signs that something is going on. i forget sometimes that i am pregnant and I get up the wrong way or stretch and it reminds me oh probably shouldn't do that.

It is going to be hot today, I want to get out of the house but not sure where to go. Shopping centre is too tempting to spend money, too tired to go swimming. What are you girls with little ones doing today stay cool today?

eta the rest of my post
