My brother and sister in law are getting married in March. It will be my first wedding since being pregnant and I want to feel fabulous. Sadly my gorgeous cocktail dresses from pre baby just don't seem right anymore.
I am a size 10, average height. Big bust, small waist. I love A-line, 50s styles, and straight styles are ok too. Dark hair, and look good in "jewel tones" rather than pastels - strong blue, red, green, purple. No orange or yellow. The dress code is formal. Would prefer not to wear black, and I think I would prefer cocktail length over floor length - but open to suggestions. Budget can stretch to $200 for something amazing that I could wear again, but the more economical the better. Hit me with some amazing outfits please! |

If you like the 50s look check out Hell Bunny - some of the patterns may not be wedding friendly but the styles are gorgeous, particularly some of the florals . Ou could dress them up with a petticoat, heals, Jewellery etc and wear again later as a less formal dress
http://www.attitudeoz.com.au/her/clothing/...ess-hell-bunny/ This one is mostly black with a bit of bling http://www.attitudeoz.com.au/her/clothing/...ess-hell-bunny/ And this one is gorgeous if you can do strapless http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=101...ize=1365%2C1596 This post has been edited by aphraell: 27/11/2012, 09:29 PM |
