this afternoon I changed my email address on eb, BTW to my knowledge it hasn't taken effect, when does this normally happen?

But, because I was in my profile trying to find if the new email was being used yet or not, I noticed that my name (firstname/surname) is there under the 'other information' heading, can other view that too? or just me?

thankyou

As the other members said it is just visible to you (and admin).

Did you change your email address via the Fairfax member centre or just here ?

Hey there

Here are the instructions for fixing this issue:

Go to "My Controls" (under their username on the left of the screen)

Under the Menu (second column on the left) look for the Options subheading and click on Board Settings.

In the Control Panel, look for this bit ...

"Type of text editor to use when posting"

If it is set to Rich Text Editor, change it to Standard Editor (or vice versa).

Once these changes are made you will be able to send your PMs.

Kind regards
