What does everyone use as concealer under eyes?
I'm no make up guru so don't really know where to start. I'm looking for something to hide the dark parts near inner eye and the huge bags underneath! Educate me please........ |

I agree, the YSL is the best.
I also like Napoleon Set from Target. It is at the bottom of the price range but I like it almost as much. |

Laura Mercier concealer for me. Then I set it with a very fine powder, same brand, so it stays on all day.
The trick is to 'correct' the colour. So for example if your bags are purple colour you need the opposite colour to neutralize the purple. If you go to a Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown counter at a department store the assistant should be able to help you. They are trained make up artists and should know this. I like both those brands for concealer. For me this is the single most important makeup item and if you get it right it takes years off your face. I have very black inner eyes. Bags are harder to conceal as in the light they can look worse with makeup. Finding a product to 'depuff' them can be a better option. Cucumber really does work! The YSL one mentioned above, Touche Eclat, is great too. It is very easy to apply which is why it is so popular. It works by reflecting the light away from the dark areas. |

I use hemorrhoid cream (Soov-it brand) for the bags (specifically purchased for this purpose - otherwise you'll probably get an infection). It reduces the puffiness. It's great but opthamologists probably don't recommend it.
To cover shadows, use any light reflecting concealer. I like colourstay by revlon, but I've heard great things about Touche Eclat by YSL. Good luck |

The YSL one never really rocked my world. On home days, I just dab a little extra BB cream under my eyes and if going out I use Benefit eraserpaste. The one pot has lasted over 2 years so far.

I vote Laura mercier too...I love her makeup..I have v sensitive skin too and all her products are fine....her mineral foundation powder is great, and all her moisturisers are fantastic too (but the concealer is fantastic) |

MAC Select Cover up
works really well for me and goes a long way.. It also doesn't look like I am wearing concealer at all, at least that's what I think ;-) |
