I know it's a long shot but I was hoping someone on here might own a Delonghhi Nespresso Lattissima Plus coffee machine?

I have been looking at all the pod coffee machines and I love love love the look of this one. I like the nespresso pods, but really wanted more than the separate milk warmer / frother.

So my question is this . I have read that you can store the milk canister in the fridge, just pulling it out when you need it. When you make a cuppa -say a latte, does it heat the whole milk container up? Or does it extract the amount of milk needed, and heat it elsewhere? The reason I ask is that I would imagine that if it heats the whole container of milk up, you can't just put the left over milk back in the fridge.

Do you find you waste a lot of milk, or did it not take you long to figure out quantities?

it doesn't heat up the whole container, just sucks up the milk needed and heats it that way.

we keep the milk in the fridge for a couple of days, but we make sure we use it up and clean the container properly every 3 days

It doesn't heat the milk in the container, it heats it going into the cup.
We wash the container at the end of the day.You do get good a judging how much you need each day.

It also has a clean function to clean out the nozzle bit so you don't get scungy dried on milk when you next go to make a coffee too.

I love my Lattissima! We store the milk in it for a day or two and then clean it thoroughly.

If you do eventually get a lattissima, make sure you set it to soft water. If it isn't set to soft water, it will tell you to descale the machine earlier than needed. That's what a lady working at a Nespresso boutique told us.

Our machine needs a descale and we need to get some stuff to clean the milk frother part. It's starting to get a smell.

ETA: Yeah that is a pretty good price. We paid around $526 full price for ours only 6 months ago.

I have a delonghi dolce gusto is it compatable with nespresso caps?

Nope not compatable. The dolce gusto are way bigger.
