Just want to get some advice or see if any others babies are similar. My son seems hypersensitive to very many things. He cries when men talk (It must be the deep voice) and sometimes jumps when they speak. If I brush his face by accident for some reason, he will scream so loudly as if he's been hurt. He also seems to startle very easily. Is this normal development and just a sensive baby??

It doesn't sound normal to me but I have no idea... Might be worth going to the gp.

I'd get him looked over - he does sound jumpy, but there could be a simple explanation so don't panic. My friends boy was hypersensitive like that - crowded places, new people, objects near him would freak him, but now he is a happy confident toddler - they never did find out why he was so scared as a baby. Let us know how you go!
