Hi ladies

I am in need of a divorce lawyer sad.gif

Would prefer to go with someone that has good feedback - rather than search on the yellow pages. Also if you know what costs are involved etc, I would appreciate any info...

Thanks !

Katrina

If you're in Melbourne I can highly recommend Karen Jones at JH Legal.
I used her for a very messy split and my Dad also used her when my parents divorced. She is straight to the point, very organised and realistic.

In regards to cost, it will depend on your situation - my split included lots of letters to and from my ex's solicitor and meetings with her. There was no medation and I ended up taking my ex to court. Total cost was approx $6,500 which she took directly from my settlement once it was all finalised.

Good luck with it all!

Sorry just saw that you're in WA. If you get stuck they may be able to recommed someone in WA. I originally got her details from someone that was interstate.

I can't recommend sorry as we managed to do the divorce and separation amicabley (although I'm pretty sure I screwed myself over but oh well).. I just wanted to say sorry though as I know how hard it is to reach this point.

Hope you find someone good. sad.gif

I am using Lynn and Brown in Morley. I'm happy with them. Expensive ( well I think so, for what they do), but I'm pretty sure it's probably reasonable charge for that profession!

Simon French. He is a Director of Dwyer Durack.

When I used him in 2007 he was $350 an hour. Worth every cent!

Firstly OP I'm sorry you are going through this sad.gif

My cousin is one of the partners at DS Family Law on Hay Street in Perth. His name is Ross Dunlop and the phone number is 9486 1766. They also have officers in Esperence, Geralton, Mandurah, Kalgoorlie and Karratha.

Good luck.

OP I'd back Katie's suggestion of Ross Dunlop, I have not used in him his professional capacity but have sufficient professional knowledge of him and the firm. Good luck
