I do volunteer work for a rescue group here. As well as fostering the littlies when I can I also do the rescue work which involves picking up the chosen dogs from the pound, taking them to the room for their flea wash etc incl a vet check,I also do photography of the dogs on my rostered day.

These little guys I was given when they were just roughly nearly 2 wks old, they hadn't opened their eyes so of course I was having to bottle feed them all. I had seen the mum when I went to pick the pups up and she looked a very slim girl,up to say my knee if a bit shorter. She had the colourings/markings of a red heeler with possibly jack russell looks.

Well,I can see the Heeler in the pups mainly with the leg colourings but as for the rest who knows.. laughing2.gif
One is def what I call the odd one out-Chalky the black one as he is larger and has longer legs. These are some pics I have on them not too long after they all had their eyes open. Will post some up to date ones later on when I can sort them out.

Maggie

Nucky

Angie

Chalky

Oh,and will say now my all time pick of the litter is Maggie, such a gentle sweet little thing AND so very active & bouncy compared to her siblings. Close behind is Nucky, I think he is learning a few " How to be cute" tips from Maggie as he is becoming a little similar to her. Angie has a home waiting for her & I'm pretty sure Maggie has too. Just haven't had confirmation yet.

Lol,def cute lil puppies..wink.gif

Mewsings,if I could one of them would def stay with me but I have 3 dogs of my own already and aint allowed any more. Of course Maggie would be my pick. She ticks all the boxes! Sorry will add updated pics soon its just I been a little slack.. blush.gif
They went into the vets today for their checkup and first vaccination. Chalky, the black one weighed in at 2.5kg whilst the other 3 were all 2kg.

Spikey, something I want to ask you & I want your opinion. Chalky has been showing some terrible shyness when people & kids have been here. He runs and hides. His face is also a very worried look too.The first lady & child that came through he actually hid under the computer desk & even growled. With his litter siblings he is very much the top pup. Can you give me any suggestions on what we can do to try & get him a little more confident around people?

I will do - am off to work in a moment, but will post some suggestions tonight. I'm sure Casime and the others who are breeders/trainers can also make some suggestions too.
