Quick q: shoulders at marker in convertible booster seat- internal harness or seatbelt safer?

Quick question as I have taken the car seat out and am washing all the parts of it now after a toilet accident. DS1 is 4 years old, in a Babylove Convertible Booster restraint (BL90A/2010). His shoulders are literally right on the marker where it suggests using it as a booster rather than a car seat- they have been at this point for a while. Is it safer to keep using it as a car seat with the built in 5 pt harness until his shoulders are well and truly over that mark, or should I take this opportunity to start using it as a booster? A couple of months ago he was 107.5cm and 17kg, he has grown a little since then. If I start using it as booster, is it best to buy a separate "H" harness to use with the seatbelt, rather than just the seatbelt? Appreciate any help

Personally so long as my child was under 22kgs I would be happy to use inbuilt harness until my child's shoulders were 2.5cm above the shoulder slot. Lap sash seatbelt over add on harness. Read sticky at top,of this forum for more info.

Thank you so much. Yep he's still only 17kg, I checked further in the manual and it says he can stay with the inbuilt harness until 18kg (I understand it's probably tested until even higher than that). His shoulders are only just at the slots, definitely not 2.5cm over, so I will leave him in this mode for now.
