Hi All,

It seems to be a slightly common topic, that our DH/DF/DP are hard to buy for when it comes to gifts.

So, I thought it might be cool to have a topic running where we can share ideas with each other for a little inspiration .. as our very own EB Xmas shopping guide for hard to buy for partners.

I do a lot of my Xmas shopping online and I always love to discover new sites, so feel free to include where you purchased, or plan on purchasing your gift (be it a online or in a store).

I will get the ball rolling.

So far for my DH ... I have purchased him ..

Nikes for $60 (bargain!) from http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/ .. I love this site and check it daily.

Two t-shirts from http://www.amazon.com

I am also thinking about getting him a $50 Gloria Jeans gift voucher as he loves their Very Vanilla Latte.

Maybe a nice big diary, for work.

xx

My Dh is getting a starter cheese making kit (Mad Millies) which was around $40 and I have booked him and DS1 a 3 hour short sail on the leewin replica tall ship. DS1 has a birthday soon after Xmas so his ticket is a birthday present from DS2 and DD. DH is also getting a book, desk calendar and hat.

He's really, really slow at cutting food for his lunch (think, slicing cucumber or something) so I found one of those kind of grater things that you just run the vege over and it slices them really thinly. (also partly for me, haha!)

A nerf machine gun, because what big kid doesn't want one?

And a diary. I'm still thinking of something that could be really awesome, but it's a struggle!

DH is into his sport at the moment, so far I have gotten him:

Speedo Jammers
Triathlon Compression Shorts
Rip Curl Shorts
socks & undies

Will probably also get him some aftershave.

Not spending a great deal. His birthday is in January and am hoping to get him a new bike.

DH is getting tickets for him and our 2 middle DD's to go and see the Illusionists on stage ... they are magic MAD !!!

He is also getting one of these ( I am keeping the other one for work happy.gif ) http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/121-lcd-digita...rame-twin-pack/ He works away from home so I thought it would be nice to have in his house with pictures from our recent photo shoot.

I always give him a BIG block of Cadburys chocolate which he complains about but still eats it quick enough rolleyes.gif

DH has asked for some long sleeve t-shirts and socks. He is ULTRA picky about clothing and socks. I got him these socks and this shirt from Threadless cos I thought the designs were funky (Also got them on sale yesterday Woohoo eexcite.gif ). I also got him a plain long sleeve Henley shirt and a dressing gown/robe (he steals mine all the time) from Amazon. I will also get him a book (I get a book every year - usually Bryce Courtney or Grisham, but BC's new one Looks like it is not available here until Jan and he just bought Grisham's new book...) and something bigger.. hopefully. He is hard to buy for. He wants a TV for our bedroom - I banned this year's ago, but in the current house we are in he actually has a valid argument (It's 2 story and our room is warmer and allows us to be more comfy and hear baby easily). He needs (wants) a new laptop, but I don't think budget will extend to that. blink.gif
