We are taking our kids to South East Asia next year, and its pretty hard to find a car rental company which supplies carseats for older kids (they arent required by law)
Our then 3yo will be too small for a regular seatbelt (shes currently 100cm tall), so Im wondering if theres a reasonably portable solution to make the drives a bit safer.
If we cant think of anything we will take our booster with us.

Depends on where you are going but there might not even be seat belts in the back seat! Indonesia for example. most cars I have been in there only have front seat seat belts.

Trunki boosta pack is a backpack half booster sold in the UK which is a half booster seat. I have used this as an occasional seat when travelling overseas and using taxi's

The kids love it as they can put their stuff in it for the flight as well as use it in a taxi.

thanks! We will be hiring the car in Malaysia, so they usually have rear seatbelts, but we are driving a lot and I know my toddler wont sit still, nor fit the belt properly

The Infa folding portable booster?

I know at 100 cm already they would be pushing height limits on most EU seats (3.5yrs is what they theoretically go to )
