Hi. We are trying to choose a girl's name (fewer than two syllables) that ends in A.What is your honest opinion of Isla? I liked it a lot but then a family member said they didn't like it and now I'm confused.Hubby isn't a fan of Ava or Ella and I don't want a K name.Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.... Any variations on names okay but must end in A.Thanks so much x

We have an Isla. I think it is beautiful. You do get some mispronounciation of the name sometimes when people are reading it for the first time. Suprisingly we have run across alot more Isla than we thought would be out there.
