When your kids are invited to a twins birthday party, do you buy them each a present or 1 combined present?

I asked their mum this and she said it is upto me.

If they are into the same things I see nothing wrong with a bigger shared pressent and maybe 1 little thig each. If they dont like the same things a pressent each

DS is friends with a set of twins - when I asked their mum she said that she preferred a present each for them as they are individuals & already have to share so much. Not sure if this is how most feel or not.

ETA - the girls themselves also like getting a present each
