Anyone ever had a BFN but turned out pregnant?

I've already posted this in November is my month, but thought id put here also for further traffic. I have done 3 first response tests all are BFN. I am today 6 days late. This never happens. I have been feeling like my menstruation is about to start the whole time. Also producing a lot of CM. Anyone experienced this? I am getting a blood test on Monday to check, but not hopeful as I assume the hpt are supposed to be relatively accurate by this point of my cycle. Me! 26 days to the dot, no period came by say 29, tested and it was negative. Day 34 tested again, positive. Cramps came and went, but no period. This was over 4 yrs ago now. No such luck happening for us now we want it to.

I didn't get a negative, but the symptoms you are describing are what I had before I worked out I was pregnant last year. Even took panadol for the period that never showed up lol. Now have my litlle 3 month old boy!

Fingers crossed you get a bfp soon. It may be that you ovulated later which can account for the days late now. Where you stressed at all last month? All you can do is wait and see if af arrives or a bfp. I had a period that was over 2 weeks late, I chart so was sure of ovulation, af arrived really late. You can go ask for a blood test if you want or just wait it out. Good luck

This hasn't happened to me but a friend of mine never got a + HPT she went for blood work to figure out why she had a missing period (over 2 weeks late) and now has a 1 year old

YEs it happened to me in my first pregnancy. I had missed my period, got a BFN home test so I went to the doctor for a blood test. She decided to do a urine test first, which came back neg. Despite me asking her for a blood test, she refused, saying I was definitely NOT pregnant. So I didn't do any more tests until the 2nd missed period, which by then was a big fat positive. Went back to her, she had egg on her face as she ordered an ultrasound and I was almost 8 weeks along. SO anyway my point is, yes you can get BFN early in pregnancy and still be pregnant. I'd suggest getting a blood test to confirm one way or the other, and hopefully your doctor will do the normal thing and be willing to do that for you, unlike mine (never went to her again).

YesI was due on Monday, tested Thursday got a neg so took some period pain tablets for the 'pre-menstral' cramping and pain. On Friday went to have our usual takeaway and wine and found it too spicy and wine horrid. On Saturday got a very light positive, went to dr and got bloods taken that were inconclusive, she warned me that it may be a missed miscarriage so had bloods done twice more that week. The following Friday my pregnancy was confirmed. This was the last month after two years of ttc we had allowed ourselves before Ivf. I had all the information from the fertility specialist and we were about to start filling in the forms. My fingers are crossed for you.

Yes, I am looking at my 4 month old now. I tested too early! I felt pregnant but as soon as the BFN, I convinced myself that I wasn't and went back to "reality" and then I went to my gyno to see if he could get my period started again and luckily he took an ultrasound, there was a baby in there and I screamed the house down! If you suspect you are pregnant, take a blood test to see. Good luck!

With my 7y/o. I was on clomid and tested when I was supposed to, BFN. Period was over a week late. Before taking the progesterone to bring on a period I took another test 'just in case' - I about fell over when it was positive! I ovulated late.
