Is it safer to put the newborn on the drivers or passenger side when you have a newborn and Toddler.

Depends on your situation.

For me it was baby in capsule behind driver and toddler on passenger side. We have lots of strip mall shopping and on street parking only so easier to put toddler in on passenger side and then plop capsule in on driver side.

Also depends of if driver can still drive with RF seat behind them.

Toddler on passengers side, as they are more likely to bolt as soon as getting out of the car... hopefully less chance of bolting in the wrong direction.

I put the baby capsule in the middle. I just kneel on the seat to put it in and leaves room to do the odd nappy change if required in an emergency.

I live in Adelaide so i mainly only park in normal parks at shopping centres not on street parking.

We did same as Isolabella. However, my DH can't drive that car as the rear facing seat doesn't allow him to push back his seat far enough for his lOng legs. For his car, he needs the FF toddler seat behind the driver, as it takes up less room and DH can go back as far as he wants.

The 2 seats are quite big im not sure that they would fit next to each other.

We are both medium height shouldnt have an issue with the RF seat on the drivers side
