I just watched the new pixar movie Brave and the heroine is Merida

What are your thoughts? ...

We already have Dd isla

Would it suit and do you like it?

It makes me think of a lovely city in Mexico. The most delicious sopa de lima I ever found.

These are all good associations. I haven't seen Brave so if I heard the name called out at school assembly I'd drift off into a pleasant daydream of cool, shaded courtyards and salty margaritas.

I like Aurora/Briar/Belle (Disney princess names, though that's NOT why I like them...) so I can't talk too much smack.

Merida doesn't do much for me personally but it's not the worst thing I've ever heard. I wouldn't care at all about a Korean bicycle company but then again I don't care that Levi is jeans to some people or Sephora is makeup while Anais is perfume, either.

Brave was such a lovely movie, I just watched it the other day too. If you like Merida go for it original.gif.

I can still here Billy Connelly saying it with the accent, so sweet.

My niece has Meriden as her middle name. Pretty sure that's the spelling...It's quite nice, but i do like Nerida as PP suggested.
